Controls Configurations for Schmidt Scribe and Pin Marking Systems
Controls and software for Schmidt Marking Systems pin markers are available in different configurations and software combinations, including 2D data matrix, to accommodate most design requirements.
All Schmidt Marking Systems controllers are housed in NEMA enclosures to ensure controls reliability in even the most harsh manufacturing environments.
Standard controls Configurations
MS104 controls
The MS 104 controls are used in automation projects where a constant interface (monitor, mouse, and keyboard) is not required.
With the addition of an external pc and Windows software (98se through XP SP2), StyleWrite for Windows software may be used.
The MS 104 controls feature two (2) RS-232 communication ports, nine (9) available I/O's (six input, three output), embedded PC DOS operating system and Schmidt Style40 software (standard).
MS P controls
The MS P controls have the smallest foot print of all standard Schmidt controllers and are ideal for automation projects where space may be constrained and constant monitoring of the marker via interface (monitor) is not required. The MS P controls are also used extensively for portable and hand held applications.
The MS P controls feature an embedded PC DOS operating system, Style40 software, one (1) available RS-232 communications port and connections for an LCD Q-terminal, keyboard and monitor. There are no additional available I/O’s on the standard MS P controls.
MS WinXPe controls
The MS WinXPe controls combine Schmidt machine controls and a self contained pc with Windows XP embedded on a flash card aboard the pc. These controls are well suited for automated integrated manufacturing cells and are capable of handling data input via the supplied network connectivity.
The WinXPe controls feature one (1) serial and one (1) parallel port, three (3) available USB ports, nine (9) available I/O’s (six input, three output), an RJ45 Ethernet port and Windows XP embedded OS. StyleWrite for Windows software is standard. StyleWrite 2D is available for 2D data matrix capability as an option.
MS Win controls
The MS Win controls use the same NEMA enclosure and controllers as the Ms WinXPe and MS 104 controls, but a dedicated pc running Windows (98SE through XP SP2) is required. StyleWrite for Windows software is standard for this controller.
The MS Win controls are designed for use in automated manufacturing and assembly and are well suited for receiving data from Excel spreadsheets.
The MS Win controls feature nine (9) available I/O's (six input, three output), an available USB port, StyleWrite for Windows standard. StyleWrite 2D is available for 2D data matrix capability as an option.
Standard software packages are available for all controls.
