Schmidt Marking Systems has developed and maintains a complete line of standard marking heads and controls for the automation machine and automation customer. Our primary focus is to provide those designers and builders with the correct marking system for their particular application and manufacturing environment.
Schmidt pin marking and scribe marking systems are available in a wide range of tool envelope sizes and with standard marking field sizes ranging from 1” x 2.5” to 8” x 8” to integrate with virtually manufacturing operation, part assembly, test cell or robotic application.

Stylus (pin) marking machines are available with following standard mounting options;

Scribe marking machines are available for integration as separate, mountable marking heads.
Controls and Software
Controls and software for Schmidt Marking Systems pin markers are available in different configurations and software combinations, including 2D data matrix, to accommodate most design requirements.
All Schmidt Marking Systems controllers are housed in a NEMA 12 enclosure to ensure controls reliability in even the most harsh manufacturing environments.
Standard controls configurations are;
- MS104 controls with two (2) RS-232 communication ports, nine available I/O's (six input, three output)
- MS P controls with one available RS-232 communications port and connections for an LCD-Q-terminal, keyboard and monitor
- MS WinXPe controls with one serial and one parallel port, three available USB ports, RJ45 Ethernet and Windows XP embedded OS
- MS Win controls with an available USB port
